Good for your mom. I can think of an alliteration for Trump: The Big Butt Bloviating Bamboozler-in-Chief. It is a tellingly sad commentary on a huge sgement of the population how popular Falwell and his ilk were. Good that the mega-churches have lost some influence.
Both of my parents were unsympathetic to bullies, particularly my dad. My mom was a rip-snorter; ready to take on any fight that she deemed worthy. All my mom would have needed to despise Trump forever was to see him mock the physically challenged reporter. My dad was generally quieter, but that didn't mean he was a milquetoast, and Trump's cruelty would have turned him right off.
My mom passed 15 years ago at 79, and my dad passed in 5 days after his 89th birthday in February 2017...actually, it was just about a month after Trump's first inauguration. I miss both my parents very much, but I can at least console myself with the fact that they don't have to be around to see how low America has sunk since Trump has poisoned our existence.
I don't know how to respond anymore. Children arrested and caged; people "disappeared" (the grammarian in me shudders at that verbal usage, but it is the only thing that works); helpless people clinging to jetsam for life, only to be blown to bits. My Coast Guard vet husband walks around in a state of rage. And there is nowhere to run. Meanwhile, Chuckie Scumer wrings his hands and sends "strong" messages. Good lord, is there no one with cojones in Congress?
Trump seems to actually believe he'll live to orchestrate a 3rd term but teases that either Vance of Rubio would be his choice if he doesn't manage this. My impression is that Vance would be worse but who knows? Not me....

If he worked for me, I would have fired him a long time ago, but...... this problem child would have brought his issues with him and as we know this cancer would keep spreading. Hopefully his age and bad health will catch up with him soon. The sooner the better for Americas sake.

He'd go for a psychiatric prison like the one in the town next to the one where we used to live. The Boston Strangler was there for awhile. The prudent thing to do is never get in front of a car and if they were dangerous fleeing felons and it wouldn't endanger bystanders - and they had very good aim - not easy the farther away the car got, they could try to shoot out rear tires. Of course then the car could careen and injure other people. Best to put out an APB and apprehend them later.
If there was a car 50 feet away and I was sure that the driver intended to kill me. and would steer into me, I would fire at the engine the more rounds fired the better the odds the car would stop and the driver would face atempted murder charges and I would be hailed as a hero.

I am beginning to believe, that at this point, the very immediate future
hinges on what shape Trump's arteries are in. In other words, we are

A better way to stop a car would be to fire at the engine. A mortally wounded driver could keep their foot on the gas.
