Thanks for this post. Didn't realize Hitler went after LGBTQ first. Not astounding, given the results of the regime. Stipulative definitions mark an intellectual fortress so-to-speak. Hitler was a monster. Millions died from 1933 to 1945. I care not how you classify "the evil that men do". It's "fookin" evil as my cousin in Ireland might say. Define what you will. When we're all in some black site, either in our mind's eye or at a physical location, please have your readership remind me HOW different Trump is from the other tyrants, past and present.
I have to call you on this: The emerging oligarchy (more correctly, a plutocracy) is what is truly happening here. That the plutocracy finds a fascist government the best way to achieve their goal of owning everything is secondary and distracts from confronting the real enemy.
Hitler was never really a front man for German industrialists. They climbed on board when they saw they could benefit monetarily from the Nazi government.

I think we can politely disagree on this. I agree that oligarchs thrive in facscist states but not all fascist states are equally ruthless and cruel.
