Think the Pope Trump image was bad? Watch the cringeworthy AI video Trump posted. To fully understand the depth of his pathological narcisissm you need to check it out. By Hal M. Brown
I know lots of people refuse to click on anything Trump posts on Truth Social, but in order to understand just how pathologically delusional he is I suggest that you click here and watch it. If this doesn’t open someone posted it on X here.
Crooks and Liars posted it with the title 78-Year-Old POTUS Posts Cringey AI Video Of Himself Shredding A Guitar What a crazy old fart. They write:
Donald J. Trump, 78, following his threat to the 20-time Grammy winner Bruce Springsteen, and in another Truth Social post, wrote, "Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she's no longer 'HOT?'," the insecure old man seems to want to one-up the iconic artists by posting an AI video clip depicting him as a rocker, performing Journey's huge hit 'Don't Stop Believing.'
When we see AI video clips, we know they aren't real, but apparently, Donald's malignant narcissism makes him think they are genuine if the clips flatter him. He is seen shredding a guitar with cheerleaders behind him on stage in red, white, and blue outfits.
First, Donald is seen in the video at a piano. Then the clip moves on to Trump, complete with man-boobs, shredding that guitar. Then he's seen on the drums.
Watch and listen to this commentary about the video posted on Instagram here. Harry Sisson, who posted this, is considered, at least by Wikipedia, to be an influencer. I suppose he is since it had nearly 49 thousand views. Also read the comments.

For those who won’t watch the video, which is actually fairly well done, here are a few more screen grabs:
I expect you are familiar with the song by Journey “Don’t Stop Believin’” but if not you will remember it if you’re reminded of the opening line “just a small-town girl, livin' in a lonely world.”.
RawStory, in their article See it: Trump posts bizarre video of himself playing Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing,' they note:
The famous song was played for Trump at Mar-a-Lago by the band's keyboard player in 2022, which resulted in him getting a cease-and-desist order from a former bandmate who called the performance a “harmful use of the brand.”
I think Trump may be attracted to the song just because of the title. I doubt that he is using it now because he is trying to encourage himself not to stop believing. Self-doubt is not a feeling Trump experiences during waking hours. He may have dreams during which his fears of failure come out, but if he recalls dreams there’s no way I see him reflecting on their meanings.
Perhaps as he read the polls, he is unconconsciously sending a message to his supporters not to stop believing in him. Again, this would not be conscious. It is impossible to know the psychodynamic significance of the song to him. Maybe he likes it because it is considered a power ballad.
The Guardian called the song the power ballad that refused to die.
Maybe he likes it because it is simply a good song. After all, far be it for me to suggest that he likes YMCA because the Village People’s song is a gay anthem which was on the album Crusin’ and ranked as one of the 100 greatest dance tunes (reference) is about gay men meeting up at their local Y for sex. This might imply that Trump’s interest in watching wrestling has anything whatsoever to do with deeply repressed desires.
All this aside, I am sure Trump has no idea that he is revealing deep insecurity when he does things like posting this. He knows his cult eats it up. He thinks he’s expressing the true Donald Trump.
He knows he’s not able to literally leap tall buildings in a single bound, but he figures since he can build tall buildings and, more importantly, be the dictator of the number one superpower, that he is equal to or better than Superman. This, so he believes, is verified by the fact that people paid for NFT images like this:
Trump is deluded. However, I’m not. I’m a little older than Trump and am well aware that I’m not the same guy who got an A in a college weight lifting class. If I lift something too heavy these days I pay the price of waking in the middle of the night with muscle aches.
I show the true Donald Trump when I use AI to make an image of him. For example to use in my Substack about Trump being a mentally unwell rageaholic like I did yesterday:

I can’t get the video to work. But the point is well made.
