I admit I was a little miffed you didn't contact me. I am not exactly an "eminent" shrink (lord knows, I try). Eminence escapes me. However, we do know each other. Anyway, you gave me a subject for my Substack today.

Absolutely! We have to be careful not to succumb to wishful thinking and cherry pick indications that could be explained either by dementia or by Trump's aberrant psychopatholgy. If Trump does have dementia, as I keep pointing out, it inevitably will get so bad that it will take a major gaslighting effort from his cult to deny it. The early stages can be dismissed as normal age related forgetfulness and sloppy speaking, but once it gets to the later stages the evidence will be there for anyone not in his cult to see.

Sorry, Hal, but you have convinced me and everyone else that you lack any training or expertise in neurology, psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, or psychology, and, yet, continue to question the expertise of those of us are trained and experienced mental health professionals. WTF? If i recall correctly, you may have an MSW and worked as a CMHC administrator, but call yourself a "psychotherapist" and have the nerve to offer your uneducated, inexperienced opinion on the mental condition of DJT. IMHO, your reach has far overreached your grip, but you are not alone in this condition, which I'd like to call "Overreach Degraspia". In my 42 yr. clinical psychiatry career, I have had the misfortune of meeting and working for too many mental health "administrators" cut from the same cloth. Have a blessed evening.
