Thanks for this, Hal. It appears to this retired physician/psychiatrist that Tramp's time is running out. His Borderline Personality Disorder and its "rejection sensitivity" is forcing him into ever more illegal, impulsive, sadistic, and delusional thinking and behavior. This will not end well for him. And, on top of the BPD, he is showing increasing signs of Alzheimer's dementia, also exacerbated by the stress he is causing himself from the BPD defenses. He has painted himself into a corner and there is no sane way out. Maybe Carville is right. Have a blessed day, Gregg.

On the early dementia I have noted among people I know that the earliest sign is imparied short term memory. Note that he is not denying he ever signed the Alien Enemies Act proclamation.
