Hey, Hal, come on now, you're "psychologically minded", right, so where does narcissism come from in the first place? A deep lack of selflove and a resulting constant need for reassurance of being loveable, attractive, worthwhile, and cared for, as well as protected. What's unusual about the pervasive narcissism in Tramp's Borderline Personality Disorder is his colossal fragility: noone would love and protect him if he didn't dye his hair and face orange, if he wasn't shown the fealty of a king (which he damn well knows that he doesn't deserve), if he didn't instantly dispose of anyone who might abandon him, if he didn't have the financial resources to attract and keep a trophy wife and children, if he didn't have the boundless energy of youth, if...? Have a blessed day! Gregg
