Here in Canada we've had the $2 dollar bill - then replaced by a coin- for as long as I can remember and it is very practical. But reading the possibility of having DumDum on any currency is sickening. I wonder if he can actually force ( re: executive order) the mint to issue some limited version of a coin or bill because he is so full of himself it is his narcisstic style. He selfishly promoted himself with his scribble on the COVID cheques -- so what is the difference so to speak. Another one of his grifts.
I see Trump as dangerous because he's a Machiavelian psychopath but also as a curious character because of his grandiose narcissim. This is why he decided to fire the chairman of the board at the reknown Kennedy Center and replace him with himself. He knew it would infuriate the left, but he also wants to be a cultural mucky muck. I hear people like us asking whether we'll see Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, the J6 Choir, and even Hulk Hogan who doesn't even sing that we know of, perform there.
Trump's insatiable need for attention and self-aggrandizement is why I wouldn't be surprised if he not only realized that George Washington was a lawbreaker and began to compare himself to him. He's already said he was a great a president as Lincoln.
I think there's a good chance he's already thought of honoring himself with either a coin or bill that is legal tender. We know he'd like to be on Mt. Rushmore but there are lots of hurdles to getting that done and he might not live to see the results even if he could do it.
