Fantastic article! I love the people are finally getting into the psyche of Trump. Please follow me on Substack. I’m trying to launch my open. Chat for him within the next week or two. Where we will discuss the psychology behind Trump. I grew up with a narcissist, their whole MO is insanity and to create insanity everywhere they go because they need the attention negative or positive they’re addicted. And when it’s coupled with a sincere lack of empathy, they are capable of horrifying destruction. We all are suffering because of Trump‘s mental illness. It’s affecting us all.!! you’ve gained a follower and I’m restocking this fabulous fabulous article

I am looking forward to reading your Substack when you write about the psychology of Trump. I've written a lot about his dangerous psychopatholgy since 2017. The most recent, if you msised it, is "Sadists ® U.S: Trump and The Dark Tetrad" here: https://halbrown.substack.com/p/sadists-us-trump-and-the-dark-tetrad

Just as Hitler did, Trump is setting up concentration camps in a foreign land - El Salvador. Hitler used Poland, for one example. And, Trump’s camps will wind up being death camps on a smaller, unsystematic scale. Prisoners die from whatever causes: starvation, torture, old age. Not as shocking as Hitler, but Hitlerian, nonetheless.

Thanks for your comment. I've written previously about how many Nazi camps were outside of Germany... out of sight and out of mind for German citizens. I think that while you are correct that some people we send to the Salvadorian prisons will be tortured and some will die. They certainly will not get the health treatment they would get in even our worst US prisons. No matter what they did they should be treated humanely. No matter what crimes allegedly committed here they should be given a fair trial and even if here illegally deportation should be decided on a case by case basis. Sending some back to a home country may be a death sentence. Of course the major difference between what El Savadore does compared to the Nazis is that the former has prisons, at least one devoted to gang members. The Nazis may have had prisons for ordinary criminals, but for Jews and other groups they had both work camps, where many were worked to death, and death camps where people were systematically exterminated.

Another good column Hal! No question, sending Americans to a foreign gulag like CECOT violates the 8th A, but Trump has violated so much of the Constitution it's hard to keep up. I'm losing too much sleep and no lie.

Thanks Sabrina, and right back at you for your column. As for losing sleep, we are in the same unfortunate state of mind. if I wasn't able to nap in the afternoon I'd be a zombie by evening. I was up at 2:00 this A.M. with my mind on what is happening to the country (and the world, Hungary for example) and thinking about what to write about, including your topic. By 3:00 I knew I wouldn't fall asleep so I got up. I was thinking of writing about the Garcia deportation. Then I read your Substack where you focus mostly on the legal aspect. But then you reference Hitler, so I reacted to that in my comment to you, and it became what I wrote today.
